The commercial interests of Cuba must naturally hope for success suc-cess of the higher, safer standard; as another inundation of silver of fictitious ficti-tious viftue, such as flooded the island during the litter years of Spanish rule, could only prove a serious menace to business prosperity. Cuba is for the gold dollar, or a currency based thereon." |
