Show Ogden Mills To Expand. At 5 o'clock last evening the stockholders ot the Ogden Woolen Mi'ls company concluded their annual stockholders' meeting meet-ing which was held at the office of the company at the mills. The following officers were unanimously unani-mously elected for the ensuing year: J. A. Hendrickson, president. Tnconh TV Smith virp-nrpi- dent; and these with George Browning, J. Cr Nye and Winu. Farr form the directorate. TiTTZ The condition of the business for the past year and the present status was reported on and the report showed an increase this year of $10,000 over the business of last year. The business is reported re-ported in a very flourishing condition con-dition and all the stockholders j who attended the meeting ex- presseu uieiiiseives as uuiug very highly pleased with the condition of the mills. A ten per cent dividend was declared. As will be seen Joseph F. Smith has become connected with the' mills and is aa officer in the company. com-pany. . - . Quite extensive improvements are contemplated in the near ! future. The company possesses a hundred horse power plant and of this only fifteen horse power are utilized in the running of the mills. It is proposed to put in an electric light plant and utilize the remaining power possessed' I at the mill to run this plant. -- The company believe that they can generate enough electricity elec-tricity by this power to supply the city with all lights necessary to be used by the corporation and at the same time give them a first class service. As soon as the plans are materialized it is proposed to put in bids to the city although the present contract con-tract between the municipality and the Utah Light and Power company still has about a year yet to run.
