Show HORSE FAIR. The directors of the Cache county Agricultural and Manufacturing society desire to hold an exhibition of all the stallions that are intended for service the coming season, on April 20, at Logan city, cache county, for the purpose of giving the farmers and every man that is interested, an opportunity of seeing all the stallions in the county, in one day, an dto really know what class of homes we have to depend upon, so that every man may be able to make his selection of the horse he may desire to patronize the coming season. The horses are expected to be in good condition for exhibition, and every palms taken to make them a credit to their owners. A committee of the best judges we have in the county, that are not interested, will be selected to give recommends to every class of horses that may be entered. THE CONDITIONS OF ENTRY AREAS FOLLOWS: 1st, All horses must be entered not later than the 25th day of march, 1881. 2d. Two dollars entrance fee will be charged for each horse entered. 3d. Every man must enter his horse at the classic [unreadable word] to represent. 4th. Every horse must be on the ground by 11 o'clock in the morning. 5th. Horses can be entered by letter addressed to the secretary, W.E. Hasselt, Logan Tithing Office. The entrance fee can be paid on the morning of exhibition before entering the Logan Bathing Yard. First, second and third recommends will be given to each class as follows: Draft horses; roadster horses; horses of all work. |
