Let us hope the new heads of government will be partial to none and show equal justice to all. Ogden has no the appearance of a city since the [unreadable word[, sign boards and advertising mediums have been cleared from the sidewalks. She now lacks a first-class newspaper. This we are promised by the Ogden Herald Company on or about April first. A prospector has been issued, and [unreadable word] are already in the field to obtain patronage, while the press and new material will arrive in two or three weeks. A small, bitter, gentile [unreadable word] sued, but it does not seem to give the [unreadable word] faction that rains anticipated it would, neither among the Gentiles nor "Mormons," for our merchants are businessmen and care nothing for the rabid attacks this [unreadable word] is pouring out upon the latter-day Saints.
