Show NOTICE. The registered voters of the First Ward are hereby noticed that a primary meeting will be held in the First Ward school house on Monday evening, Feb. 20th 1882, at 7 o'clock p. m. for the purpose of electing three delegates to a convention to meet Wednesday evening Feb. 22d, 1882 at 7 o'clock p. m. to nominate officers for Logan City, to serve for two years. Bassett, Recorder of Logan City, do hereby give notice to the registered voters of said city that the Biennial Municipal Election of Logan City will be held in the Logan Hall on Monday, March 6th, 1882, for the election of the following officers for said city, viz: One Mayor, five Aldermen, five Councilors, one Recorder, one Treasurer, one Marshal, and one Assessor and Collector, to serve for the term of two years, and until their successors are elected and qualified to office. The Polls will be open at one hour after sunrise and continue open until sunset. Said Election to be held, conducted, and returns thereof made in accordance with the provisions of an ordinance regulating Elections and providing for the Registration of Voters," passed December 20th, 1879. Sealed bids for contract for making a ditch twenty three rods long four foot deep and ten feet wide across a ?? of land between two curves of Logan River just south of Ricks' Bridge on said river, will be received by the undersigned at his residence in Smithfield, Cache Co., Utah from date hereof to February 15th, 1882. The contract will be awarded on February 16th, 1882 to the lowest responsible bidder and the work must be completed by March 15th, 1882. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. E. R. Miles. The stockholders of the 4th Ward Co-operative Institution are hereby notified to meet in the Fourth Ward School House, Logan, on Tuesday, February 14th 1882, at 7 p. m., for the purpose of hearing the annual financial report of the Company and to elect eight Directors to serve for the two ensuing years and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the meeting.
