The first drawing draw-ing will be held Saturday, November Novem-ber 27, at 10:00 a. m. in front of the Utah Power & Light Company Com-pany building. The list of participating par-ticipating merchants have grown to 62 and these business houses have on display the prizes that they will award the lucky ticket holders. The value of the gifts range from $2.50 to $50.00 and each week a new selection of gifts will be offered. Local merchants have given whole hearted cooperation to the American Fork Chamber of Com merce in the sponsoring of this holiday shopping extravaganza. Business houses have stocked full lines of top merchandise and toys for the Christmas season and have marked them at the lowest selling price that is consistent con-sistent with quality. Chairman Harold Holley and his committeemen have been working overtime in securing the prizes and formulating the pre-cedure. pre-cedure. They have a full pro gram lined up to carry through to December 18. Every person who makes a our chase at an American Fork firm will receive a numbered ticket with each one dollar cash purchase. pur-chase. A stub from the ticket is placed in a box especially provided provid-ed and each Saturday the tickets made at a public gathering. The person getting the prize will go to the merchant displaying the particular prize offered and pick it up. After each drawing a complete list of numbers will be posted for the convenience of shoppers. In this manner shopping for the approaching holiday is made a pleasure and will also be profit able to the hundreds of persons who get the extra prizes.
