Calif, have returned to their homes after visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hagan Hansen. Mrs. Quayle, who has been here for several weeks, is employed at the Paramount Studios. While here she entertained for Mr. and Mrs. Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Hansen of American Fork. Honoring Mrs. Junius Banks, who has been confined to her home for several weeks, a group of friends met at the Banks home Wednesday evening. The evening was spent in social chat and playing play-ing Rook, and refreshments were served. Those attending were Bi;-shop Bi;-shop and Mr. Hyrum Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Randal Schow, Bishop Bi-shop and Mrs. E. B. Garrett, Mr. and Mrs. J. Maiben Stephenson, Mr. and Mrs. J. Freeman Royle, and Mrs. and Mrs. Banks. Last Monday evening the officers offic-ers and teachers of the Third ward Primary met at the home of their teacher-trainer, Helen Jones, for their preparation meeting. Mrs. Jones assisted the teachers with their outlines for the year, and a social followed. Refreshments were served to the following who attended: at-tended: Hannah Mott, Alene Curtis, Cur-tis, Rachel Featherstone, Marjorie Coleldge, Evelyn Slater, Thelma Bone, Ruby Nielsen, Fay Fox, Ruth Houghton, Joyce Smith, Esther Jones, Ruby Bone, and Nadien Jones. Mr. and Mrs. John Hutchings have returned from a delightful trip to California. Leaving by plane, they flew to Los Angeles, then travelled up the coast to San Francisco, where they visited their daughter and son-in-law, Major and Mrs. J. Sterling Merrell, and Mrs. Huthings' sister, Mrs. Vera Miles. In Sacramento they visited Maurice Henry and Mr. and Mrs. William Critcher. They viewed the meteor shower last week from the Bay, and before returning home they visited Stanford University at Palo Alto, the zoological gardens gar-dens and other points of interest in the Bay area.
