You know what a thrill it is to eat those golden carrots, those rosy red tomatoes you plant yourself. You know that no "boughten" food can possibly taste as good. And you know, finally, that nothing, is as good for you of your waistline as getting put in the bright sunshine and taking care of your garden patch. Plan yoUf Victory Garden now and plant it wisely. It is reported that the Armed Forces will need eight million more cases of canned vegetables this ye than last. That is another reason why it is a good idea to encourage the Victory Garden program. And if you are fortunate enough to have a modern gas range, you know what a thrill it is to enjoy properly cooked and properly preserved food full of nutritional value.
