Anderson left Sunday for their home In Boise, Idaho, after visiting here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Anderson Ander-son and Mrs. Mary Ann Southwick. They arrived here last Thursday, after enjoying an extended visit in St. Louis and Denver and other eastern points, where Dr. Anderson guve lectures at clinics. Mrs. Theo Walker of Los Angeles, California, arrived here Saturday for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum J. Evans, and other relatives. She came on account of the serious illness of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Luella Walker, who passed away Monday morning. She will remain here until after the funeral services. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Darling re ceived word last week of the arrival of a new granddaughter in Los Angeles, California. The proud parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Rex Ange of that city, Mrs. Ange being the former Miss Jean Darling of this city. This is their second child and is the cause of much rejoicing. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Comer and two children of Logan spent Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday here with Mr. (Comer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Comer. Mrs. Comer and two sons remained to spend some time with her mother, Mrs. Leo T. Shelley, Shel-ley, in American Fork, who is very 111. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. Mrs. Kate Anderson, who recently underwent an operation for the removal re-moval of her goitre in Salt Lake City and has been in Salt Lake City for the past two months, is expected to return to her home Sunday. Goodwin and family. Miss May Cutler of Shelley, Idaho, Ida-ho, was a week end guest of Miss Alta Christensen. Sunday morning morn-ing Clyde Gessell, Dean Fuhriman, Allen Izraelsen, all of Logan and Alta Christensen accompanied Miss Cutler back to Logan. Mrs. Emma Jane Roberts arrived home Sunday after spending the past three weeks in American Falls, Idaho, with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ford Roberts and children. She made the trip to Idaho in company with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Roberts and daughters, who were returning to their home in Washington, D. C, after a visit with her at Lehi. They spent a few days in American Falls, then continued con-tinued their trip through Yellowstone Yellow-stone National Park, before leaving for Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Ford Roberts accompanied Mrs. Roberts home Sunday. She reports a lovely visit. ,. . Mrs. Lowell Brown entertained members of the Pandora club at her home last Thursday evening. A delicious luncheon was served at small tables arranged on the lawns. The club members are entertaining their husbands at a canyon party tonight (Thursday) in American Fork canyon. The new officers and teachers of the Fourth ward Primary entertained enter-tained at a social Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Marvel Peterson, Peter-son, honoring the outgoing officers and teachers of the organization. Lively games were played during the evening and refreshments were served to a large group. The new presidency of this organization Includes In-cludes Mrs. LaLita Russon, president; presi-dent; Mrs. Marvel Peterson and Mrs. Deon Smith, first and second counselors. Eugene Jackson of Salt Lake City visited here Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Ellen Jackson. Mrs. Sentell Young left Saturday evening for her home in San Francisco, Fran-cisco, California, after spending the past few weeks here with her mother, Mrs. A. J. Evans, and other relatives. Mrs. James Norman and children of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Olsen of Salt Lake City were guests of Mrs. Richard Norman on Sunday. Miss Donna Zimmerman visited in Salt Lake City last week with Miss Elaine Jarvis. Miss Jarvis returned re-turned with her and spent a few days at the Zimmerman home. -" Dr. and Mrs. Stanley A. She is reported to be doing as well as can be expected. Keith Manning is receiving medical med-ical care in the local hospital. Gene Wilson was removed to his home last Thursday, after a week's treatment in the hospital for pneumonia. Mrs. Booth Sorenson was' guest at a tea given by Miss Hermese Peterson Pe-terson in Salt Lake City Monday afternoon. Mrs. Victor Smith spent part of last week in Provo visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Carter. The family of John F. Bradshaw entertained Monday, at Lagoon, honoring his seventy-first birthday anniversary. Forty-five family members mem-bers were present.
