Mr. Dean Udall was a business visitor in Salt Lake Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Denzil Brown of Provo, spent Sunday visiting here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Nellie Wilds of American Fork, was a dinner guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Holmstead Sunday. Mrs. Blaine Peck and children, of Salt Lake spent Saturday and Sunday here with Mrs. Pack's mother, Mrs. Mary Kirkham. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis E. Barlow were in Lohi Wednesday and Thursday on their return from Colorado where they spent the past four months. Mr. Boyd Holmstead who is attending; attend-ing; school in Salt Lake, visited here over the week-end with his parents, 'Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Holmstead. Mr. and Mrs. William Osterloh and children and Miss Ruth Osterloh, all of Salt Lake, were visiting here Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. H. E, Osterloh. Mr. and Mrs. EUloh Goates and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Harmon, of Salt Lake, motored here Sunday and spent the day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. William Goates. Mr. Martha Bushman, of Escalante, returned to her home last week having hav-ing visited here for the past few weeks with Mrs. 'Martin B. Bushman. Before returning home she enjoyed a short visit In Salt Lake. The Social Club ladies were entertained enter-tained Friday afternoon by Mrs. John Zimmerman at her home. The time was spent in playing "500", after which a tasty luncheon was served to sixteen Indies. Mr. and Mrs. Chris LInchoten and children returned to their home in Salt Lake Sunday, evening having visited here during the day with Mr and Mrs. George Wing and family. 'Mrs. Eldon Chilton entertained at a birthday ' dinner Sunday in honor of her husband's anniversary, Covers were laid for twelve. The Fourth and Fifth ward Relief Society bazars held last Friday and Thursday respectively were a big success from every standpoint. The quilt from the Fourth ward was drawn by Mrs. A. E. Manning and Miss Belva G urn ey was the lucky person to win the bed set from the Fifth ward. At the Second ward bazar held recently Mr. I. L. Lott won the large embroidered center' piece. Farewell For Elder Lewis Holdsworth A farewell social in honor of Lewis Holdsworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Holdsworth, who is leav ing for a mission to California, will be given in the 'Memorial building Saturday evening. A special program has been out lined following which refreshments will be served and a dance enjoyed. A general invitation is issued by the committee to all citizens to Join in this farewell social.
