Singleton of Salt Lake. Mrs. Dale Cutler and two children are visiting here this week with Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Cutler. Mr. Dale Cut ler, who has been employed at the Z. u. m. I. in salt JuaKe uity, nas accepted ac-cepted a position in the Swing Co. store at St. Anthony, Idaho. He will be in charge of the gents' furnishing department. . The Banks family from Lehi, Pleasant Grove, Provo Bench and Lindon entertained at a social last Thursday evening at Geneva resort in honor of Merrill Banks, who leaves soon on a mission jto Germany, Ger-many, and Howard Cordner of Provo Bench, who will attend school In the East. Bathing, social chat and picnic lunch were enjoyed by fifty. A. number, of affairs have been given in the past week honoring Elder Merrill Banks who leaves July 5th to fulfill a mission in Germany. Saturday evening the Religion Class Stake Board entertained at a social at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks. A program, games and tasty refreshments were enjoyed by twenty guests. Merrill was presented with a beautiful combined edition of the Book of Mormon, Pearl pf Great Price and Doctrine Covenants. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Marsh entertained en-tertained at a family dinner Saturday afternoon at their home in Alpine complimentary to Elder Banks. Covers were laid for twenty.- The guests from this city were: Elder Merrill Ranks. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks and family, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Hackett. and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hackett, ; Merrill Banks, Francis Gurney, Dale Anderson and 'Mr. and Mrs. Banks attended a party In Provo last Friday evening given by Miss La- Verde Scorup at her home In honor of Elder Banks. . . Mr. and Mr.s Banks gave a dinner party Sunday evening at their home honoring their son. The guests in cluded: Miss Caroline Scorup and Vwa T.Vfrde Sconin of Provo, F. Gurney, Dale Anderson and Merrill Banks. Tuesday evening Elder Banks and Mr. and Mrs.. Junius Banks were en tertained at a prettily appointed din ner by Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Booth at their home.
