Outlet of Lehi is the place for all of your scrap booking supplies. Seven years ago C. W. Outlet was just a little craft store hidden away on State Street in Lehi. They are still located on State Street but now they have gone from crafts to icfe'r ;:'W4 scrapbook supplies, and the supplies seem to never end. They offer products that anys one interested in doing would love to have. Angela Daniels, who travels from South Jordan, says, "I can't find a scrapbook store in Salt Lake that has the things I want." She comes at least once a month and leaves her kids at home because C.W. Outlet is "my candy store." There is a room that has almost every kind of paper you could think of. Rows and rows of stickers are just calling out to be purchased and rubber stamps are found in every image, size and style. Punches, markers, pens, stencils, scissors and ideas. She devoted her life to her family, her community and her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, where she was serving as Matron of the San Diego California Temple. Elaine was born Aug. 23, 1939, in Reno, Nev. She graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in Riverside. Calif, earning recognition for academachieveic and ments. She majored in geograYoung phy at Brigham University in Provo, Utah, and, while raising her family, expanded her education with courses in nutrition, art, history, business accounting, investments and psychology. Her family always took precedence over other interests, yet she always made time for civic participation, becoming the first woman elected as mayor in Alpine, Utah, where she developed a municipal park, carried out a sidewalk construction project to protect school children, and organized y extra-curricul- desserts. Before serving as Matron of the San Diego California Temple, Elaine's church participation included serving two times in her local ward as President of the Relief Society women's organization and three times as Young Women's President for girls She served in the same capacities at the higher Stake level, and she e served a mission, to the church's assigned International Affairs Office in Washington, D.C. While raising her family, she assisted in the family dental seminar business. The seminars developed into an international business with more than 100 employees, of which Elaine became President. Upon retiring from her business and civic responsibilities, Elaine spent more time with her family and assisted her husband on his international judicial teaching and consulting trips. Overall, Elaine is a woman who held true to her beliefs and fought to improve people's lives wherever she lived and served.
