Wednesday, September 29, 1993 Page 6 Stake: Two new wards formed Continued from front page UtahSalt Lake County Bishop Ellis, an environmental consultant, has served in various church callings, including Scoutmaster, Varsity scout coach, gospel doctrine teacher and in the Elder's Quorum presidency and the Stake Young Men's presidency. He and his wife, the former Carol Farnsworth, are the parents of six children. First counselor Michael Dubois is the son of Keith and Fae Dubois of Lehi. He has previously served as ward clerk and as a teacher in the Sunday School and the Elder's Quorum. He and his wife, the former Joanne Roberts of Lehi, are the parents of three children. Paul Thayn, a seminary teacher by profession, is the son of Sylmer Thayn of Lehi and the late Homer Thayn. He has previously served as branch president, bishop, Elder's Quorum president and on the high council. He is married to the former Dottie Kalmar; they have seven children and 14 grandchildren. Kent Loveridge, called as ward clerk for the Willow Creek Ward, has previously served as finance clerk, Elder's Quorum secretary and counselor. A former missionary in the New Zealand North Mission, he is m arried to Vicky Gentry; they are the parents of eight children. Lehi 3rd Ward Bruce Childs, former second counselor, was sustained as bishop of the Lehi 3rd Ward, succeeding of State Street, the boundary continues to the center of 1500 North. The south boundary will continue along the center of 1500 North west to Trinnaman Lane; the line then moves 100 feet north of 1500 North. (Homes west of Trinnaman Lane that face 1500 North are not included.) The line continues at that point ( 100 feet north of 1500 North), west to the railroad tracks. It will then follow the tracks north to a point at approximately 1800 north, then west to the east bank of the Jordan River and north to the Salt Lake County line. Meetings will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the building at 1095 N. 300 West. Sunset Ward Randy Wells was named as bishop of the new Sunset Ward, with Dane Loran Dixon and Paul Leslie Christiansen as counselors. John Charles 'Chuck' Revill will serve as executive secretary and Douglas G. Todd as ward clerk, with Jeffrey Ralph Nelson and Mike Corbett assisting. Bishop Wells, a senior buyer for Salt Lake County and member of the Lehi Ambulance crew, has previously served as a high councilor, teacher and YoungMen's President. He and his wife, Rebecca, are the parents of two boys and two girls. A former president of both the Elder's Quorum andtheYoungMen, Dane Dixon was named as first counselor to Bishop Wells. A mink rancher by trade, he and his wife, Nadine, are also the parents of four children. Paul L. Christiansen, named as second counselor, has previously served as scoutmaster, Blazer leader, and president of the Sunday Line. The Willow Creek Ward will meet in the building at 1095 N. 300 West, tarting at 2:30 p.m. Ward boundaries for the Lehi Third Ward will now form a rectangle, with the west border on 600 West, the north border on 2600 North (10400 North county address), the east border on 300 West and the south border on 1750 North. The ward will meet at 11 a.m. in the stake center, 1920 N. 500 West. For the Lehi 7th Ward, the southern boundary will remain on 900 North; at 500 West, the boundary will shift to Trinnaman Lane, continuing up to 1500 North. From that intersection the boundary will continue east on 1500 North to a point 100 feet west of State Street. (The boundary places homes that face State Street in another ward.) At the intersection of State Street and 500 West, the boundary then continues to 300 West; from there it runs north to thence east to a pointcoincidingwith Center Street. From Center and State Streets, the boun dary follows State Street to 200 West, where it turns down to connect with the southern boundary on 900 North. The ward will meet in its current location, 1095 N. 300 West, with meetings starting at 12:30 p.m. Regarding the Lehi 12th Ward, the current stake boundary at 600 North will remain unchanged on the south; on the west, the new boundary line will be 500 West. On the north, the former 900 North boundary line will remain the same until the intersection on 200 West. At that point the line runs north on 200 West to State Street. At State Street, the boundary runs southeasterly to Center Street, then south to 600 North. The ward will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the building at 1095N.300 West. Theeastborderfor the 15th Ward will be found along 300 West, from 1750 North to State Street. There, it will run along the center of State Street to 500 West, where it will then run south on 500 West to a point approximately 100 feet west of State Street, which will include all homes facing State Street. That boundary behind the State Street homes will continue to a point at approximately 1200 West; the line will then go north to the east si de of and continue to the center of 2100 North.
