Powell as bishop, has attained the noteworthy record of having five boys who have recently earned the "Duty to God" award for church activity. In earning these awards the young men must have attended Sunday School at least 75 per cent of the time during each of the four years of activity, with 75 per cent attendance at YMMIA meetings during that time, also. They must earn the Aaronic Priesthood Certificate of Achievement each of these four years and must be officially registered Boy Scouts, Senior Scouts or Explorers for each of the four years. Young men between the ages of 12 and 18 years of age are eligible. She will represent Lehi in the 'Miss Utah" contest as well as on other occasions. Her attendants are Miss Bev erley Ann Colledge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester J. Colledge, and Miss Sandra Bridges, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seldon Bridges, runners up in the contest. Miss Powell gave a musical reading, with a sewing display, to the accompaniment of Mrs. Jackie Halversen.
