Biographical Sketch of Phyllis FERA Armit-stsa- d Phyllis Armitstead, daughter of J. Earl and Arreva A. Davis Armitstead. granddaughter of Elisha H. and Sarafc E. Stewart Davis, was born July 10, 1914. at Lehi, Utah. She was baptized when she was eight years of age Into tb Church of Jesus Christ of Lutterday Saints. She received her early education la the Public Schools of Lehl and com pleted high school in Lehl in 1933. Ths last two years, Phyllis has been a student of the Brighajn Young University, where she was elected to th distinguished position of of her class for the ensuing year. She has always been willing to respond to calls made of her. Her talents have been especially along the dramatic and musical lines which she ha always been willing to share with th public. The last three years she has been organist of the l Second Ward Sunday School, a position she very faith fully end efficiently filled. Phyllis has had great faith In thw principles of the Gospel and all of her life she has been an honest tithe payer, ever putting aside one tenth of her earning for tithing. She was pleasant, cheerful and happy and her Influence for good was felt ls her home and among her associates. . Phyllis was to have been married on of Grow Provo, Utah, Spencer September 13, 1934.
