He is the guest of his brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Wilcox and his sister,! Mrs. Violet Christensen. The annual reunion of the Thomas Bartlett and William Orton families was held on a recent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Taylor. A barbecue supper was served on the patio. Among the guests were: Mr.! and Mrs. Joseph Orton, Mr. and Mrs. Will Orton, Mrs. Margaret Orton and Esther Orton, all from North Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. James McEntire from Sunset and Mr. and Mrs. William McEntire of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Wells Iladfield have had as their house guest their son, Earl Iladfield from Alameda, Cal. Gordon Wood has returned to his home in California after a visit of several days here with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wood, Mr. and Mrs.' Hal Wetherston and Mrs. Susan E. Wood. Mr. and Mrs. T. L. White were out-of-to- dinner guests of theiron, Frank, and his family in Centerville last Sunday. The occasion was the christening day of their newest grandson who was named, Raymond Frank White. Clearfielders welcome newcomers, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Harper who have taken residence in Campbell Heights from Jonesboro, Louisiana. Both Mutual Improvement associations held speech festivals in the Clearfield wards last Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hadfield and family combined seeing the fall scenery with a picnic last Sunday in Logan canyon with their friends from Logan, Capt. and Mrs. Elmer Mumford. Miss Marsha Hadfield was the honored birthday queen last Tuesday when she attained the ripe old age of six years. Her mother helped her celebrate with a party for 24 of her little friends.
