VOLUME TWENTY ONE Street Lights to Be Installed In Districts Layton LAYTON Five new street light Bountiful Voters Okeh Bonds will be installed in Layton three in Victory park and two on south U. S. highway 91 between the homes of Leonard Layton and G. S. members of the town board reported today. Action to install the lights is in line with the town's better lighting program it was explained. The board also annouced approval of four new applications for water connections and approval of two building permits. One permit granted is for construction of a $7500 home by the Layton L. D. S. First ward. Upon completion the home will be sold and money used for the church welfare program, it was explained The bther permit was for an addition, costing about $3,000, to the home of Melvin Davis. At the meeting, Win Templeton, engineer, discussed problems pertaining to the future water development in the town, including enlarged lines for handling increased flows. Meanwhile, pool hall operators met with the board and were to maintain clean, orderly places under the new ordinance permitting them to remain open on Sundays and until one a.m. on week days. This ordinance was passed last week to make the town laws governing closing conform with those in the county.
