Both are active members of the LDS Church. Henderson has served as an officer in both Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthood quorums, as president of the MIA, a home teacher for over 50 years. He served in ward bishoprics, and as bishop of the Roy 9th Ward., and as a high counselor in the Roy North Stake. Mrs. Henderson has served as an officer and teacher both in ward and stake auxiliary organizations. The couple have served as ficiators in the Ogden LDS Temple since it opened and are still serving there. They are the parents of four children: James O. Henderson and Jean Tyler, both of Bountiful; Mrs Robert (Laurel) Sharp of Plain City, Mrs Uarry (Orelene) Mikesell of Roy. They have 14 grandchildren and SOUCO CASE OF 48 9.60 .The Henderson will greet friends and relatives at an open house from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Roy 22nd Ward Chapel, 2175 W. 4250 S. Roy. The couple were married Aug. 31, 1933, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Henderson was born at Osmond, Wyo. March 26, 1914, a son of Joseph Hyrum and Annie Ellen Neilson Henderson. The family moved to Ogden in 1928 where he attended Ogden City Schools and Weber College. He was employed by the Ogden Railway and Depot Company and later by United States Civil Service at Hill Air Force Base, retiring in 1976. Mrs. Henderson was born Sept. 9, 1914, a daughter of James Edward and Jean Galt Burton. She was educated in Og- seven den City schools and graduated They request that gifts be from Weber College.
