Kaysville Couple to Celebrate KAYSVILLE Mr. and Mrs. LeRoi Day, 461 North 200 East, Kaysville, will be honored by their family at a dinner in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary at the Red Flame Restaurant in Bountiful, April 9. . Mr. and Mrs. Day were married April 7, 1923, in Kaysville and were later endowed in the , Salt Lake LDS Temple on Dec. and long life, according to researchers at the University of California. , Mr. Day served as Davis County Deputy Sheriff for five years and as sheriff of the county for 12 years. He was Davis County Sanitary Inspector, manager of the state liquor store in Layton, Kaysville Justice of the Peace and served a second term as Davis County Justice of the Peace. He retired in 1975. They are parents of four sons and two daughters, LaMar W. Day of Evanston, Wyo. ; Lt.Col. DeVon Day of Merced, Calif.; T. Gary Day, of Layton; Douglas L. Day of Glendale, Calif. ; Mrs. Ray (Bette) Davis Soda Springs, Idaho; and Mrs. Garth (Marlene) Woodward of Bountiful.
