They were married Nov. 29, 1933, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Knight was born in Plain City, a son of Stephen and Mary Ellen Carver Knight. He worked as a meat cutter in various markets in the Weber and Davis County Area. Mrs. Knight was born in Clearfield, a daughter of George A. and Millie Guiver Mumford. Mrs. Knight has served in various auxiliaries of the church. She is a member of the Daughters of Pioneers and is now serving as a volunteer at the Humana Davis North Hospital. The couple lived in Pinedale, Wyo., for nine years moving to Utah in 1943 and have made their home in Sunset since that time. They have two daughters: Shirley Hammon, Brigham City; Gaylene Wilcox, Syracuse; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
