Show I Lakeside Review North, Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1983 3A LDS Missionaries Accept Calls, One Returns Home Mission calls from the LDS ' Church have been accepted by church members from the Lakeside area, while others will report after having completed missions. Elder Gordon Wayne Hall, son of Wayne and Lorraine Hall of Kaysville, has been called to serve in the Oslo, Norway LDS Mission. Prior to his Oct. 20 departure for the Mission Training Center, Elder Hall will speak at the Kaysville 20th LDS Ward on Oct. 16 at 8:30 a.m. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the missionary following the meeting or on Wednesday, Oct. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. at his home. A member of the Kaysville 20th LDS Ward, the new missionary is a graduate of Davis High School. Elder Richard David Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Davis L. Magrath High School from Alberta, Canada; Elko High, Elko, Nev,; and Blackfoot and Boise high schools from Idaho will compete with six Utah schools: t, Bountiful, Davis, Tooele, Woods Cross and Mountain Crest from Hyrum. Principle judge will be Mack McGrannahan from the sity of Nevada at Reno; Douglas J. Wolf, of the University of Utah music department, will judge percussion and cadences; Roni Pyle, former director of the rifle line at Weber State College, will judge ancillary groups; Gregg Hanson, U of U symphony band director, will be music judge. David W. Mumma, teaching assistant for the U of U bands, will judge marching and maneu-- , vering, and Dr. Forrest D. Stoll, U of Us chairman, department of music, will be general effect judge.
