Bicyclists Will Ride For Retarded Citizens LAYTON Officials expect more than 1,000 people to be riding bicycles Saturday to Antelope Island from Vae View Park in LaytonPark in Layton to benefit mentally retarded persons. This is the seventh running of this event and it will be better than ever, said Guy Smedley, Syracuse, of the Davis County Association for Retarded Citizens. Project Turn and the Davis County group are cosponsoring the event. -Prizes for participants include a season ski pass to Powder Mountain, Dynastar skis, Colorado River trip, TV, 10 speed bicycle, ski passes to Brighton, as well as hundreds of door prizes. All riders will receive free Lagoon passes as well. A free lunch will be served on Antelope Island. The course, over scenic roads with no hills and light traffic, will be monitored by the Davis County Sheriffs Patrol, which will also provide !sag wagons for the weary.
