Stuart. 83. who resided at 1645 West 300 North, West Point, died on Thursday, March 12, 1981 at and the home of a daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dee McFarland of West Weber. as stake church magazine director for a long time. He was a veteran of World War I. having served in the Army. SURVIVING are one son and two daughters. Norman M. Stuart, West Point: Mrs. Dee (Virginia) McFarland. West Weber: and Mrs. Gary (Barbara Ann) Faulk. Layton: 21 grandchildren and 39 greatgrandchildren. MR. STUART was born March 25. 1897 in Wellsville. Utah, the son of Alexander and Sarah James Scoffield ,$ Stuart. On Jan. 29, 1920. he married Leda Moss in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Jan. I. 1973. He was a retired farmer and had been a tomato inspector for the state of Utah for a number of years. V Temple Rites Repeat Vows MR. AND MRS. JAY A. EACH CARRIED a wicker parasol with a long flowing arrangement of yellow and white daisies, with brown ribbon trim. The brides mother wore a full length gown of soft yellow polyester. The grooms mother wore a full length dress of floral yellow and peach organdv. ASSUMING the duties of best man was George Smedley Jr. Ushers were Rocky Schofield, Danny Schofield and Clair Smedley. The couple left for a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., and Los Angeles, Calif. Upon their return home they plan to live in Clearfield. FUNERAL SERVICES were conducted Monday at I p.m. at the West Point Stake Center with Bishop Kenneth W. Flint officiating. Interment was in the Syracuse Cemetery, vsb Heights: L. Thad. Kaysville Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stuart attended the funeral service of his brother, George S. Stuart, held Monday in the West Point LDS Stake Center. Mr. Stuart died March 12 at the home of his daughter.
