Burial was in the St. George Cemetery. The funeral program consisted of the family prayer by Ralph McArthur; prelude and postlude by Pearl Jorgensen; a musical selection by Shirley Smith, To A Child, and the invocation by Lyle R. Mr. Hartzell was bom June 21, 1944 in El Paso, Texas, a son of Harold and Nola Byington Hartzell. In 1965 he married Karey Jensen. They were later divorced. On May 26, 1973 he was married to JoAnn Haycock Martinez in Elko, Nev. She died Aug. 15, Travis Martinez and one stepdaughter, Trish Martinez both of Kaysville; mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice C. Porter of Sunset. Funeral services were held Thursday in the Kaysville 10th Ward Chapel with Bishop Henry Heath officiating.
