Brooks, 68 of 425 East Crestwood Road, Kaysville, died Dec. 19, 1979 in Provo Nursing Home, following a long illness. MR. BROOKS was born 8, 1911 in Knightsville, Utah, a son of Henry L. and Bertha Hall Brooks. On Jan. 1939 he was married to 1, Wilma Graves and had lived in Kaysville since 1955. He was a branch foreman for plant services at Hill Air Force Base from 1940 to 1971, when he retired. He was a member of Gateway Lodge and a genealogy worker. She is survived by her husband of Kaysville; two sons and five daughters, H. Dean Umpleby, Rawlins, Wyo.; Blaine S. Umpleby, Taylorsville; Mrs. Loyd M. (Naomi) Jan. Seely, East Layton; Mrs. Ronald L. (Diane) Clark, Fruit Heights; Holly Umpleby, Midvale; Mrs. Dale R. (Ann) Hilton, Okinawa; Alese Umpleby, Kaysville; 17 grandchildren. She married William Howard Umpleby on March 5, 1948, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She lived in the Kaysville area the past 50 years.
