Show "Sing-Away" Being Staged by CSU Music Students An original musical comedy Is to be presented by CSU thespians in the auditorium May 8, 9 and 10. Director is Prof. Richard M. Rowley. Original music for the production produc-tion was composed by Richard Christiansen, Escalante; David Fullem, Milford; Emily Sjencer, Orderville and Gloria Dotson, Cedar Ce-dar City. Prof. Blaine Johnson is directing the music. Mrs. LaVeve Whettcn, instructor in women's physical education and dancing, is in charge of choreography. In the leading rle as Marc Reihnhardt, is Jim Holt, Las Vegas. Ve-gas. Playing opposite him as his peppery girl friend is Norma Lee Mercvr, Parowan. The little old lady is played by Shirlee Graff, Cedar City. As the obsessed young musician is Richard Christiansen Chris-tiansen with Roland Hinton, Hurricane, Hur-ricane, as his loyal friend. Comedy Com-edy roles are played by Don By-num. By-num. Tulsi, Okla.; Rich Nelson, Boulder City, Nev., and Raymond Munford and Roslyn Leigh, Cedar City. Others in the cast are Janet Carroll, Orderville; Iona Liver-more, Liver-more, Idona Smith and Bernett Baldwin, Cedar City; Neil Smyth, David Pullen and Gary Weston, Milford, and Wayne Wintch, Manti. The musical. In two acts, has Zion National Park for its setting. set-ting. The young employees at the park concessions make up the members of the cast. The story concerns the efforts of a certain rich young man working at the park to find himself and to help a pathetic little old lady find her missing son. I |
