Show Milford Youth Dies When Car Goes Out of Control A Milford youth was killed and his companion Injured on Thursday evening, Oct. 30, on the Mlnersvllle road near Rush Lake when the car in which they were riding went out of control and turned over. Sheridan Ray Rogers, 20, was thrown from his car and was crushed to death. A companion, Ronald Joseph Brinkman, 20, also al-so of Milford, remained In the rolling car and suffered only minor injuries. Although the accident appar-ently appar-ently happened at about 7:30 p. m., local highway officials were not notified until nearly an hour later, when a passing motorist mo-torist discovered the accident. The two young men were traveling travel-ing toward Cedar City when the accident occurred. The car, driven driv-en by Rogers, apparently went out of control and struck head on into a rock embankment, the Impact apparently throwing him from the car, and he was crushed as the car rolled. I The young man was a son of Sheridan and Lela Manhart Ro- 1 gers. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister and three brothers. |
