Show Native of Cedar City Dies in Salt Lake City I Alma Robert Hunter, 23, Cedar City, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 22, in a Salt Lake hospital following a lingering illness. Robert was born In Cedar City on April 19, 1935, to William Tho. mas and Laura Stockdale Hunter. Hunt-er. He was an active member of the Cedar LDS First Ward, until un-til he entered military service in 1953. From 1953 to 1957 lie served with the U. S. Air Force. He married Gloria Hitt and was later divorced, and is survived sur-vived by a daughter, Roberta Ann Hunter in Texas. Also surviving sur-viving are his mother, two sisters, sis-ters, two brothers and a grandmother. grand-mother. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the First Ward chapel Sat. urday afternoon and burial was in the Cedar City cemetery. The funeral services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop Clemont Adams of the Cedar First Ward. The body was viewed in the foyer of the church with family prayer prior to the services by Randolph Grlmshaw. Invocation was by John Booth, benediction by Willard Lunt and dedication of the grave by Parson U. Webster. Web-ster. Speakers were Harry H. Lunt and Charles R. Hunter. Music included three numbers, "I Need Thee Every Hour," "Jesus, "Je-sus, Lover of My Soul," and 'Though Deepening Trials," by a quartet composed or Randolph Grimshaw, George D. Grimshaw, Barbara Christensen and Clorine Shorratt, accompanied by Maureen Maur-een Grimshaw. Prelude and post-lude post-lude music was by Maureen Grimshaw. Military ceremonies were conducted con-ducted with the Cedar Post of the American Legion posting and retiring the colors. |
