Show tW$r Kr M IV ' - f'h L I .ft'. Ml MR. AND MRS. RILL MELLING Double-Ring Ceremony Melling, Loock Mr. Bill Melling claimed Miss Laruie Ann Loock as his bride January 7. The double ring ceremony took place in the Cedar lst-12th Ward Church with Bishop Raymond Baker officiating. of-ficiating. Following the ceremony, the newly weds were guests of honor at a reception in the same building and they were further honored at a reception in the Salt Lake South Stake Center on January 8. The parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Loock of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Melling, 66 E. College Avenue. The bride wore a long white gown with a delicately flowing veil. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Atten(fitig the bride were her sisters, Mrs. Diana Gates, Miss Merrilee Loock and Miss Tammy Loock; a cousin Miss Patricia Simmons; Miss Melanie Melling, the bridegroom's sister; and Miss Linda Urie. They wore print dresses in blue and yellow. And each girl held a yellow rose Best man was Willard Perkins and the ushers were Jeff Bet-tensen, Bet-tensen, John Berry, Rick Barlow, Kent Sullivan, Kendall Schoppman, and Walker Melling. The mothers of the bridal pair wore long royal blue dresses with yellow rose corsages. In Cedar City the Church was decorated and the flowers done by the bridegroom's grandmother grand-mother Mrs. Gladys Stone and an Aunt, (i Eva Harrison. The decorations featured blue and yellow flowers in baskets with lots of blue and yellow bows. The cake was decorated by and given as a gift by an aunt Roma Knight. In Salt Lake the hall was decorated by the bride's brother Ron Loock and the cake was decorated by her sister Merrilee. The bride has attended the University of Utah and SUSC. Mr. Melling is a graduate of Cedar High, has attended SUSC where he was a member of the Rodeo Club and is now employed at Cedar Custom Meats. Prior to the wedding the bride was feted at a personal shower in Salt Lake. |
