KENNETH ROWLEY Popular Couple Exchange Vows In Temple A popular Parowan couple were united in marriage in a ceremony which was solemnized on Friday, Aug. 30 in the St. George LDS Temple. Pres. Rud-ger Rud-ger Atkin officiated in the double dou-ble ring wedding ceremony that united Darlene Lucie Hyatt and Kenneth O. Rowley as man and wife. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma E. Hyatt and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Rowley, all of Parowan. That same evening the newly-weds newly-weds were honored at a reception, recep-tion, held in the Parowan Sec-old Sec-old Ward recreation hall. For the occasion the bride wore a wedding wed-ding gown of chantilly lace trimmed with pearls. Her veil of illusion was released from a tiara of seed pearls and her bridal bouquet was of white gardenias and stephanotis. Attendants of the bride were Miss Ruth Ann Dalton, maid of honor; Miss Linda Knight, Miss Marie Finllnson, Miss Davie Hyatt Hy-att Bister of the bride, and Miss Sharon Rowley, vster of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. They were dressed In turquoise sheaths and carried pink camella bouquets. "Standing as best man for the bridegroom was his brother El-wyn El-wyn Rowley. For the event the mother of the bride wore a blue lace dress with a corsage of white camel-las, camel-las, and the mother of the bridegroom bride-groom wore a blue and white floral gown. i For her going away costume the bride was dressed In a blue and pink brocade sheath. For their honeymoon the newlyweds spent a week at Grand Canyon. The new Mi Rowley Is a graduate of Parowan High School and is attending College of Southern Utah. She is a past president of the AWS at the Cedar Ce-dar City school and was affiliated affiliat-ed with the Lambda Delta Sigma. Sig-ma. Mr. Rowley also graduated from Parowan High School and has fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church to the West Central States. He Is attending CSU. The new bride was honored at a miscellaneous shower given by Miss Ruth Ann Dalton and a personal shower given by Miss Linda Knight and Mrs. Adell Lovell. |
