Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Br Nolo Kupfer The Grant Tucker family took a late summer vacation to southern south-ern California the past week. The family members visited at the home of Warren Wilson, a former form-er missionary companion of Mr. Tucker when he was in Brazil. Staying in San Diego, Mr. and Mrs. Tucker and their children took side tries to Tiaiuana. Mex. Disneyland and other points of interest Captain C. L. Lane arrived In Cedar City on Wednesday for a few days visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Robb. Mrs. Lane has been visiting at the home of her sister and brother-in-law for the past two months. Captain and Mrs. Lane and their three girls will make a new home In Denver, Colo, where they will be stationed. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Stapley have been enjoying visits from their daughters and children. Last week their daughter LaRae Ballard and two girls of Salt Lake City were at home while this week Gaylen Langs ton and her two sons will be visiting. Mrs. Langston will be joined by her husband to complete the week's stay. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Furl Porter is Mrs. Porter's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Woolsey, and their daughter, Jay, and a friend Trudy Jeffers all of Taft, Calif. From Los Angeles have come Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Farnham and their daughter Patricia, to spend a week In Cedar City. They are sharing their time between the I. E. Riddle's and their son ' and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Farnham. Receiving-special Receiving-special attention was the youngr son of the Jerry Farnhams who Is the first grandchild for the visitors. Mrs. Herman Anderson returned return-ed on Thursday after spending a week visiting with her parents in Holden. Accompanying their mother for the week were Jill and Jeff. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Slack left this week for points north. While Mr. Slack Is attending a two-week encampment at Fort Lewis, Wash. Mrs. Slack 'ill visit vis-it in Providence, Utah with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. El wood A. Leonhardt. |
