Gerald Slack Claims Betty lean Leonhardt In Ceremony Solemnized at Logan Temple Gerald Whitney Slark claimed Miss Betty Jean Leonhardt for his bride in rites solemnized In the Logan LDS Temple July 10. President Evan Darley performed perform-ed the double-ring ceremony. After the nuptial exchange the couple and the immediate families fam-ilies were honored at a buffet in the garden of the bride's parents' par-ents' home. The new Mrs. Slack Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Leonhardt of Providence and Mr. Slack is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Slack of Cedar City. A reception at the Providence First Ward was held the same evening. The bride greeted guests in a ballerina length gown of white lace over satin fashioned In prioress prio-ress lines with a small long sleeved Jacket Her fingertip length veil of net lace bordered was attached to a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Janis Leonhardt, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Cherrle Lynn Slack, Blanch Schnider, Barbara Grlzzel and Utahna Broderer. Gaylord Slack, brother of the groom, was b it man. Ushers were Dennis Slack and LaVar Leonhardt. Assisting in the gjft room was Kitty Bosworth, Coy Leonhardt and Virginia Neddo. Regina Peterson Pet-erson was at the guest book. Macel Parker, Sad'e Barker, Janis Leonhardt, June Gunnel and Mada Llechty were In charge of the refreshments. For going away the new Mrs. Slack chose a two piece dress In pink and white with white accessories. ac-cessories. The bride is a graduate of the South Cache High School. The bridegroom graduate from Cedar High School and ha attended College of Southern Utah for two years, served two years with the U. S. Army and is currently attending at-tending Utah State University at Logan. |
