Show Mary B. McDonald Accorded Last Rites By Marileen Austin MODENA Mrs. Mary II. McDonald Mc-Donald (Aunt Mary), 78, died Tuesday night at her home in Modena after a lingering illness. "Aunt Mary" was born Dec. 9, 1878 In Moffett, Texas. She was the daughter of William MubC and Lavonia Moore Whitlock. She was married to John Bruce McDonald on Mar. 12, 1908 in Dalhart, Texas. They came to Modena in 1916 from Evanston, Wyo. to make a homestead for themselves. They decided to go to Milford in 1925. This they did, and went to work for the Milford Depot and Cafe Mary came home in 1927 and hired hir-ed John D. Tace, Harold Harter, and Sextus Johnson, carpenters to build the store and cafe. They built this in May and she opened It on June 1. 1927. Mr. McDonald passed away In Modena in 1951. Mary McDonald Is survived by two half-sisters and two nieces. niec-es. The funeral was held in Modena Mo-dena at 3 p. m. Saturday. The pening prayer was given by Dyle Adams. The first song, "My Task," was by Mrs. Darlene Pendleton. Pen-dleton. The obituary was given by Richard Thorley. The second song was "In the Garden of Tomorrow," To-morrow," by La Mar Lund. The speaker was Samuel F. Leigh. The third song "God's Other Room", was by Edna, Ann and Evan Thorley. Closing prayer was given by Maitlon Dull. Burial was in the Modena cemetery. Out-of-town people who attended attend-ed the funeral were: Mrs. Rex Sperry and Mr. and Mrs. William . Adams, Henderson, Nev., Mrs. Reva Burden and family of Hurricane; Hur-ricane; LaMar Lund and Mrs. Mitchc-11 White of Milford; Mrs. Darlene Pendclton and Dyle Adams, f .i owan; Lester Can field, E. or.rlse; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Phelps, Enterprise; and Samuel F.
