Show Patricia Thompson, Roger Webb Recite Wedding Vows Saturday afternoon, Dec. 21 at 5:00 p. m. marked the time of the wedding of Roger Webb of Cedar City and Miss Patricia Thompson of Sarasota, Fla. Officiating Of-ficiating at the ceremony was Bishop Edwin C. Cox of the Cedar Ce-dar Seventh Ward in the reception recep-tion room of the LDS Institute. For the nuptial occasion the bride chose a wedding gown of white lace over satin of ballerina baller-ina length. Her veil of bride's Illusion was of fingertip length and fell from a crown of sequins and seed pearls. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Emma Ann Sanders. Sand-ers. Standing as best man was EIRoy Nelson. Following the double-ring cere, mony the couple were guests of honor at an open house, also held at the Institute, given by the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Webb of Cedar City. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Thompson. Mrs. Thompson flew from Florida Flori-da to be in attendance at the wedding ceremony. Out-of-town guests for the occasion oc-casion included Mrs. Emma Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie An-erson, An-erson, Milford; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Fakler, S. George; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wilson, LaVerkln; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Eager, and Mrs. Helen Sterling of Leeds and Mrs. Hattie Stephenson, Holden. Following u, short honeymoon trip to Salt Lake City and a few day's at home In Cedar City with the bridegroom's parents, the new couple will return to Santa Monica, Calif., where Roger will continue his work with the Doug-las Doug-las Aircraft Engineering department. depart-ment. Both are graduates of the University Un-iversity of Utah. Roger attended the U on a Ford Scholarship after af-ter successfully pissing tests as a Junior to warrant his entry Into In-to the University minus his senior sen-ior year of high school. |
