Show Cedar Girl, Parowan Man Wed In Home Ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Rudger F. Beat-ty Beat-ty announce the marriage of their daughter, Janice, to Donald Don-ald C. Lowder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lowder of Parowan. the couple exchanged marriage vows at the home of the bride in a doubtering ceremony Friday. Fri-day. Jan. 16, with Bishop Fern-leigh Fern-leigh Gardner of the Cedar City-Fourth City-Fourth ward officiating. The young couple was honored at a reception at the Fourth ward Relief Society rooms following the marriage. The bride is a student of the Oedar City high school r.nd the groom is enrolled in the Salt Lake Vocational school where he Is studying architecture and drafting. He is a graduate of the Parowan high school and attended attend-ed a vocational school for one year in Spokane, Wash. The young couple will make a home in Salt Lake City until Mr. Lowder completes his training there. Maid of hcr.or was Miss Jean-nine Jean-nine Thompson, with the Misses Thelma Davis, Karen Beatty and Donna Henrie as bridesmaids. Best man was Owen Holyoak of Parowan. Hostess was Miss Lilly Elackburn. Hostess at the serving table were aunts of the bride, Mrs. La-Vand La-Vand Bauer and Mrs. Waldorf Bauer, and serving were the Misses Marion Wood, Wilma Manning, Donna Bryant and Vila Bryant. Miss Delna Adams was in charge of the bride's book, and the Misses Yvonne Manning, Evelyn Scott, Dianne Beatty, Sharon Kelsey and Mrs. Jackie Flanigan Robinson were in charge of the gift room. Ushers were Sgt. Lamond F. Beatty and Robert Beatty, brothers of the bride. Neal Beatty and Melvin Manning were in the check room, and Mrs. Olga Manning and Mrs. Leola Bryant assisted In the I kitchen. |
