Show Cedar Couples Attend Travel Trophy Meet Eight members of the Cedar dty Junior Chamber of Com-1 merce and their wives traveled to Gunnison Saturday, Jan. 10, to attend the state travel trophy meeting. According to Miles Morris, president of the local organization, organi-zation, the Cedar City club placed second in total miles traveled for the January get-together. Taking (first place was the Tremonton jclub which will be host at the next travel trophy meeting in I March. I A state board meeting of the Utah Jaycces will be held during February at Salt Lake City and for that reason the travel trophy : meeting for February will not be held, it is understood. Couples attending the Gunnison Gunni-son meeting were Mr. and Mrs. Burns Sherratt, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ches-ter Cnpps, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thuet, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Or-ton, Or-ton, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Cripps, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Riddle, and Mr. and Mrs. Gam Hirschi. Mr. Morris states that the Cedar Ce-dar City club is one of the top clubs in attendance at the travel meet over the year, and may be in line for state recognition. |
