He is in his graduate grad-uate year of the Pitt, school of law, alter having served with the Navy Air Forces for a number nf ye:irs. He held the rank of Captain and was a Command Pilot in the Pacific thcatie of operations. Mrs. Ul.l is a graduate of the South High school In Salt Lake City, and attended the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural College. For the past two years she has been a civilian employee em-ployee at the Marine Base In San l'lanclico. Mr. Lipphardt is a former engineering engin-eering student of the University of Ohio, and was a Lt. in the U. S. Marine Coips, having made three separate overseas tours of duty, all in the Pacific Theatre of operations. opera-tions. He Is employed In the engtn-ei engtn-ei ing field in Salt Lake City at the present time, where he and his bride will make their home. Mrs. Lipphardt Is a graduate of the B. A. C, Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural college, and the New York University, having majored In Retailing Re-tailing and Textiles. After teaching for two years at the Alabama Polytechnic Poly-technic Institute at Auburn. She was entertained Saturday night at a shower given by Mrs. Henrietta Henriet-ta Harris at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jones, and was the guest of Miss Anna Leigh at a luncheon Sunday, with close friends in attendance at both functions. She was also extensively entertained entertain-ed in Salt Lake City before her marriage. |
