Show Parowan Couple Exchange Vows In St. George Temple Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Whitney xl Parowan Par-owan announce the marriage of their daughter, Patricia Joy, io Eugene Eu-gene Orton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Orton, also of Parowan, th ; marriage ceremony having been performed at the St. Oeorge LDS temple on Friday, March 28. The young couple were honored at a reception held Friday evening at the home of the bride's parents. In the receiving line were the bride and groom and their parents. Pouring Pour-ing were Mrs. Lyle O. Halterman and Mrs. Morgan Slack, sister of the bride, and serving were the Misses Dorothye Dalton, Sara Benson and Cherrie Taylor, and Mrs. Gary Bent- ley. In charge of the gift room were Miss Beverly Orton and Mrs. Mar-Ian Mar-Ian McMillin and Mrs Gaylord Whitney, sister and aunt of. the groom, and sister In law of the bride respectively. The bride is a graduate of the Parowan high school and a former student of the Branch Agricultural college and the Brigham Young University at Provo. The groom, a veteran of World War II and an employee at the Iron County Record plant, Is a graduate of the Parowan high school, and after serving for two years with the Unit-ted Unit-ted States Navy attended the Branch Agricultural college before accepting employment at the Record plant. The young couple are making their home in Parowan. |
