Show Funeral Services Held For Elizabeth J. Hulet Mrs. Elizabeth Jones Hu-let, Hu-let, 80, of New Castle, died of natural causes October 6, in a Cedar City nursing home. She was born June 23, 1888, in Cedar City, a daughter of Sylvester Syl-vester Frazer and Mary Alice Melling Jones. She was married mar-ried to Charles Franklin Hulet, Hu-let, December 15, 1908 in Par-: owan. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She is survived by her husband hus-band and the following sons and daughters: Clifton J Norman Nor-man Lee, Charles Darwin, all of New Castle; Melvin F., Cedar Ce-dar City; Mrs. Bertrand (Minnie) (Min-nie) Dalley, Summit; Mrs. Aaron (Leone) Rasmussen, Parowan; Mrs. Jack (Maude) .Strate, Lander, Wyoming; 30 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Setli M., Nathaniel Jones, both Enterprise; Enter-prise; Mrs, Sarah Lane, Ontario, On-tario, Canada; Mrs. Leone Lyman, Ly-man, Parowan; Mrs. Pearl Haltermnn, Enoch. Funeral services were held .Thursday, Oct. 10, in the New Castle Ward Hall with Bishop Charles Hart conducting. The opening prayer was given by Rupert Hulet of Parowan. The New Castle Ward Singing Mothers Mo-thers sang the opening song "I Know That My Dedeomer Lives." The first speaker was Ivan Dalley of Parowan. A I vocal solo, "Beside Still Waters" Wat-ers" was sung by Mrs, Lynne Clark of Beryl. The next speaker was President Arthur Barlocker of St. George, and remarks were given by Bishop Charles Hart. The Singing Mothers sang "Sometime i We'll Understand", and the benediction was offered by Sterling Tullis. The prelude and postlude music was by Miss Nellie Gai Hart. The family prayer was offered of-fered by Nathaniel Jones. Burial was in the Summit Cemetery and the dedication of the grave was by Clair Hulet Hu-let of Parowan. |
