Show o Lifelong Resident Dies Here Following Illness Mrs. Harriet Louise Orton War-ren, War-ren, 77 lifelong resident of Parowan, Paro-wan, died at her home here on Wednesday evening after a long illness. She spent several weeks in the Iron County hospital suffering suf-fering with pneumonia, but was taken home 10 days ago where death resulted from complications complica-tions following pneumonia. Funeral Fun-eral services have been tentatively tentative-ly set for Saturday, June 3 at 2 p. m. in the Parowan West ward chapel. Mrs. Warren was born in Parowan Paro-wan December 12, 1S72. a daughter daugh-ter of Sidney and Salena Butts Orton. She had lived in Parowan all her life, and was married to Joseph A. Warren in March. 1892. Mr. Warren died in 192G. During most of her married life they lived on a farm down in Parowan Paro-wan valley. Since living in town she had been active in the Relief Society Socie-ty organization of the West ward. Surviving are the following children: Laura Covington and Edith Williams, Cedar City; Joseph Edward and Eugene Warren, War-ren, Parowan; Maude Jameson, Lenora Alger and Meade Warren McGill, Nevada; Velda Burns, Mcwre Park, California, and Hilda Hil-da Davis, Norwalk, California; 26 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Mary O. Mitchell, Parowan. |
