Show C t'f Last Rites Slated For GlennaWard Funeral services for Mrs. Glen-na Glen-na Marsden Ward. 47, of Salt Lake City, and former resident of Parowan, will be held Saturday, June 3, at 12:30 p. m. in the Yale-crest Yale-crest ward chapel in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Ward died in a Salt Lake City hospital Tuesday after a lingering illness. Burial wili-be made in the Salt Lake City cemetery. Mrs. Ward was born in Parowan, Paro-wan, Nov. 61902. a daughter of Lucius N. and Mary M. Marsden. Mars-den. She was a graduate of the Parowan high school and attended attend-ed the B. A. C. at Cedar City and the University of Utah. Following Follow-ing this she was a teacher in the Parowan elementary school for some time. She was married to Rex C. Ward, also of Parowan, June 11, 1924 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was very active in musical circles and in the L D S church organizations both in Parowan and after the family moved to Provo and then to Salt Lake City. Surviving besides her husband, are a daughter and two sons, Helen, Craig M. Ward and L. Melvin Ward, Salt Lake City; her mother. Mrs. Mary M. Marsden, Mars-den, Parowan, and six brothers and sisters, William and A. M. Marsden and Mrs. Arthur Joseph, Parowan; Nelson Marsden, Cedar City; Mrs. George H. Durham and Milo S. Marsden, Salt Lake City. |
