Show Prominent Parowan Livestock Man Dies Funearl services were held In Parowan Friday afternoon for Wil-1 l.am W. Pend:eton, 88, prominent j Iron county Ramboulllet sheep breeder, who died at the home of j hi3 son-ln-ltw and daughter, Mr. ' and Mrs. Hubert Jackson, Monday, March 4th. General dcfcility incident to ape was given as the cuuse of dean. Mr. Pendleton, who pent his entire life in Parowan was born .n that city on April 14, 1837, a 5on of Calv n and Sarah Ann Newberry New-berry Pendleton, Parowan pioneers. He w;-.s mirried to Mary B. Gurr U the St George LDS temple on November IS, 1880. Mr. Pendleton engaged In farming farm-ing during moit of his life, and was one of the pioneer breeders of hl-h grade Rambaulllet sheep in P.-.sovran, and he produced and exhibit ex-hibit at many livestock shows some of the finest thecp ever bred in this part of the state. Surviving are seven children, Mrs. Zel'.a Orton, Mrs. Sarah Jackson, William C. and Donald Pendleton, of Parowan; Mrs Clistle Davis, California, Mrs. Delia Nazer, St. George and Mrs. Ella Ilolyoak, of Cedar City. Also surviving ara twenty grandchildren and twenty-three twenty-three great-grandchildren. |
