Show Former Resident Dies At San Diego Dr. E. A. Farrow, former Indian Service physician, who for a number num-ber of years was a resident of Cedar Ce-dar City during which time he was an active civic worker, died at his home in San Diego, California, on May 7, according to a news releass from the San Diego Union. Dr. Farrow was stationed at Cedar Ce-dar City for a number of years during which time he was In charge f medical care of the Indians of this area. He was a past president of the Cedar City Rotary club and a member of the Cedar City Masonic order. He was in government service for orty years before retiring nine yean ago, and was Assistant Superintendent Superin-tendent of the Medical Department, Philippine Islands Constabulary, with a rank of Major, during tho Spanish American war. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna K. Farrow; a son, William Farrow of San Diego; a daughter, a sister and two brothers. When the House of Representatives Representa-tives passed the tax reduction bill by a wide majority Monday, Congressman Con-gressman Walter K. Granger was listed as among the minority casting cast-ing their votes against the bill. |
