Show BERYL NEWS NOTES ; Mrs. Davis Pederson and son have returned home after a very I pleasant visit in California. Mrs. Gladys Holland visited with her son Thomas in Boulder City, Nev. He is attending high school in the Nevada city. Mrs. Myrtle Thompson and Mrs. Mable Neilson report a very pleasant time at the special ex- j tension school in Logan last I week. ' Mrs. Eva Bosshardt and Mrs. Doris Pederson were hostesses for a surprise party given at the Wells school house for Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Tinker who are leaving leav-ing for California. A feature of the party was a combination farewell and birthday cake baked for the occasion by Mrs. Edith Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Tinker's Tink-er's daughter Tenna celebrated her birthday Wednesday. Refreshments Re-freshments were served and music mu-sic and dancing was enjoyed by a good crowd. Mrs. Georgia Moyle is planning a party for everyone in Beryl to be held at the school house on Oct. 31. The Ladies club of Beryl held its meeting on Thursday, Oct. 12, because of the deer hunters' dance this week. Mrs. Pederson presented the P-TA president with a flag for the school. Chas. Bosshardt has donated pipe for a flag pole, and Dutch Barlocker, Parley Moyle and Cliff Quinn will install it. The women will do the painting. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Judd were called to the Cedar hospital Sunday Sun-day where their daughter Nevada Neva-da is receiving treatment for injuries in-juries received in an automobile accident. They report that she is not seriously injured. |
