Show New Iron County Registrants Listed Listed below are the names of the Iron County youths who registered re-gistered with the local board on July 1, the second registration day under the Selective Service Act. In addition to those listed, the registration regis-tration cards of young men who registered locally have been forwarded for-warded to their respective local boards for handling. Registration cards were also received re-ceived by the local board for three young men who registered elss-where elss-where but who gave their home addresses ad-dresses as Iron Ccunty, it was announced an-nounced by E. B. Dalley, clerk. These are as follow; : Paul Martinez of Modena, who registered at Las Vegas, Nevada; Calvin J. Banks of Cedar City who registered at Grand Canyon; and Orien Huntsman of Paragonah who registered at Independence, In-dependence, Missouri. Order numbers will be assigned these young men as soon as the master lists are received from the Selective Service headquarters, said Mr. Dalley. This is expected to take place within the next few days. Visiting at the home of her parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Geo. A. Wood of Cedar City for the last week were Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Blnnle from Monterey, California. Mrs. Blnnle is the former Luclle A. Wood of this city. While visiting in Utah the Blnnles have also visited In Ogden with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ro-bert Blnnle, the brother of Mr. Blnnle. This Is the first year thut they have visited in Ogden during the Pioneer Days celebration and when there were entertained by many of their old friends. They attended at-tended the spectacular Pageant presented to the people of Utah and sponsored by the Ogden Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce Sunday evening at the Municipal Stadium, which is one of the finest preformances they have attended since the Cavalcade Ca-valcade of the Golden West presented present-ed at the Golden Oate International Exposition in San Francisco. The Blnnles plan to return to Monterey Mon-terey Wednesday by way of Boulder Bould-er Dam. v - Word has been received of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Seaman of California. Mrs. Seaman is the former Pat Young, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Young of Cedar City. . A. |
