CEDAR CITY - The Bureau of Land Management Utah State Office has some reminders for those persons submitting annual an-nual proof of labor or correspondence on mining claims. Proof of labor reports are due each Dec. 30 and should have the name of the claim and Utah Mining Claim Serial Number (UMC) as well as the name and address of the locator. Correspondence concerning con-cerning a claim should include the same information in-formation to facilitate handling. The annual proof of labor report is required by the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976. The report lists the type of assessment work performed per-formed and its monetary value. The work must be the equivalent of at least $100 annually. Failure to submit a report is deemed to |
