Show RECEPTION IN WASHINGTON. Congressman Suizer Announces plans For Boer Envoys. Washington, May 16. Representative Suizer of New York, chairman of the committee to receive the Boer delegation In Washington, today received a telegram from Messrs. Fischer, Wessels and Wol- marens, stating that they could not leave j New York before Friday. Mr. Suizer then i announced the programme as follows: On Thursday nierht a committee of tnree. United States senators, three representatives represen-tatives and committee of prominent citizens citi-zens will go to New York to escort the delegates here. They will leave New York Friday morning, and will be met at the depot here by a committee of 2wt. and taken to the Arlington hotel. On Friday night an informal reception will be held at the hotel and on Saturday morning the Boer delegates will call on the president. On Sunday night there will be a meeting meet-ing at the Grand opera house, when the delegates will speak, and there will be addresses also by senators and representatives. represen-tatives. ! Mr. Suizer says the stay of the dele-I dele-I gates will be made the occasion of a not- able demonstration. : The congressional committee which will go to New York to meet the delegates will be as follows: Senators Heitfield.
