Show v. k : ANACONDA. 4 4 St. Peter's church fair, which has been in progress at A. O. H. hall the past ten days, was brought to a close Tuesday evening by a grand balL Oven 500 tickets had been sold for this event alone and the ball room f oor was fairly crowdedcrowded with a merry throng of dancers. The music by the Margaret Marga-ret theatre orchestra was of the usual high order and the assemblage was one of the merriest that has gathered in Anaconda for a long time. The ladies who have had the fair in charge have worked hard to make it a success, and while they feel sratified at the results that have been, attained are glad that U is over. As a result of their labors . a handsome sum has been realized that will he applied in payment on the church debt. . . . Close of the Fair. . (Correspondence Intermountain Catholic.) Monday evening St. Peter's Church fair came to an end. It has been most successful, the several contests being . j especially lively. The attendance packed pack-ed the hall. Following were the winners in the contests: First contest, gold watch, wen by Miss Nettie Beckers; second contest. i dress, won by Mrs. D. L. Sullivan; third contest, fishing outfit, won by Emil Lempke; fourth contest, silver set, won by Captain Greenan. In the raffles Father McCorry's picture pic-ture was won by Hazel Kennedy; the sofa cushion by James Walsh: the set of china dishes by Mrs. D. J. Sullivan. On Tuesday evening the close of the fair was celebrated by a ball, for which the following committees had been chosen: Arrangements Mrs. J. C. McDonnell, Mrs. Pat Lodge, Mrs. D. L. Sullivan, Mrs. A.
