Show Wedding Bells. St. Dominic's church in the Highlands High-lands was the scene of a quiet but very pretty wedding last week, when th pastor. Rev. Francis O'Neill, O. P., performed per-formed the ceremony which made John Joseph Flynn and Miss Sellne Agnes Chauvlne man and wife. The church was very prettily decorated with palms and cut flowers. The bride, looking very stately in her going-away gown of blue chiffon broadcloth, was attended by Mrs. S. T. Parsons as matrpn of honor, while Dr. S. T. Parsons performed per-formed the duties of best man. Following Fol-lowing the ceremony a reception was given Mr. and Mrs. Flynn at the home of Mrs. H. E. Allen, 2622 Dunkeld place. The bride and groom left on the evening even-ing train for a tour of the east, after j which they will make their home in Tomahawk, Wis., where Mr. Flynn is in business. The approaching marriage of Miss Julia Cummings and John Harrington is announced in the publication of the banns. They were read for the first time in Logan avenue chapel last Sunday. Sun-day. A Fort Logan wedding which excited interest beyond the army circle was that of Miss Mamie Dollmair, the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Haver Dollmair Doll-mair of Logantown, to First Sergeant Eldredge J. Green of company M, Twenty-first infantry, stationed at Fort Logan. The ceremony was performed last week at the home of the bride's parents by the Rev. Richard Brady, chaplain of the fort, and only a 'few friends witnessed it. Miss Anna Reh-winkel, Reh-winkel, a cousin of the bride, attended her as maid of honor, and Sereeant v. J. Michaelis of company M, Twenty-first Twenty-first infantry, completed the wedding party. After the ceremony, supper was served, after which Sergeant and Mrs. Green left for Colorado Springs. They will make their home at the post. |
