Show (. Wedding Bells. A quiet 'wedding; j-et nevertheless :of interest because of the prominence of the contracting parties, was solemnized in Logan avenue chapel Tuesday, January Janu-ary 1L when Miss Ellen Mary Solis became be-came he bride of John J. Campbell. Rev. H. L. McMenamin performed the ceremony, and also officiated at nuptial mass. The bride is one of the attractive daughters of Hamon Solis, the well known cigar manufacturer. She attended attend-ed Immaculate Conception school and later St. Mary's acedemy,' and Is an accomplished ac-complished ' musician. An elaborate breakfast at the family home, 1609 Downing avenue, followed the ceremony. cere-mony. :sjr sjr - Miss Josephine M. Meder of Fort Garland, Gar-land, Colo., and Clement A. Bohne-kamp Bohne-kamp of Duncombe, la., were, married Saturday evening, January 8, at Logan avenue chapel by Rev. Father Phillips. The engagement is announced between be-tween Miss Julia Ruff and John A. Fa-gin. Fa-gin. The marriage will take place at Logan avenue chapel on Wednesday, January 19. A wedding of interest to the Italians of Denver took place Sunday afternoon. January 9, when Miss Angelina Brindisi became the bride of Joseph Losasso. The bride was beautiful in a dainty point disprit gown, with trimmings of real lace, the handiwork of her mother. She wore a long tulle veil and wreath of valley lilies, and was attended by Miss Annie Spaie, who also was gowned in white. George Doeles was best man. The wedding was performed at Mount Carmel church by Rev. Father Piccoli. After the ceremony a reception was held at Mount Carmel hall, where several sev-eral hundred friends of the young couple cou-ple called to extend congratulations and good wishes. Many beautiful presents pres-ents were received. On Monday, January 10, at St. Joseph's Jo-seph's Polish Catholic church in Globe-ville, Globe-ville, Matthew Kovac and Mary Gru-besic Gru-besic were made man and wife. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Fa-ther Jarizynski. and was followed by nuptial mass. The bride was attended by Miss Bessie Chiminski, while Antonio An-tonio Domitrovich performed the duties of best man. Following the Polish custom, cus-tom, the bridal festivities lasted three days. |
